Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Electrical Safety Manager with a strong background in electrical systems to lead and support our safety initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a deep knowledge of OSHA regulations, NFPA 70E standards, and the NEC, ensuring a safe working environment with a specific focus on electrical safety. This role is critical to maintaining compliance and fostering a strong safety culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops, implements, and oversees company-wide safety programs, procedures, and policies with an emphasis on electrical safety.
- Conducts regular audits and inspections of electrical systems and practices to identify hazards and ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations.
- Leads incident investigations, prepares reports, and implements corrective actions.
- Provides training and mentorship to employees on electrical safety, lockout/tagout procedures, PPE usage, and safe work practices.
- Serves as a technical resource for electrical safety-related questions and risk assessments.
- Collaborates with project teams to assess potential hazards in design and implementation phases.
- Maintains safety records, logs, and reports in accordance with regulatory and internal requirements.
- Stays up to date with changes in safety regulations, codes, and industry trends related to electrical systems and general workplace safety.
- Prepares and arranges safety exhibits and material for display, promotional work, and employee education.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science or related field; or any combination of education and experience may be substituted for a degree.
- 5 years of safety management experience in commercial, industrial or construction environments.
- Prior hands-on experience as an electrician required.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification.
- Authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer with a valid OSHA 500 or 502 Trainer’s card is a plus.
Capabilities:
- Strong understanding of OSHA standards, NEC, and NFPA 70E.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and educate all levels within the organization.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficient in MS Office products to include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and OneDrive.
Other: This is an on-site position based at the company’s main office in Middleburg, FL, and requires regular travel to job sites, with up to 25% of travel expected.
